Here's the finished lineart for Erin's commission. I think I'm getting better at group drawings. I actually took an hour or so to plan out where I was putting everyone and crap. It was pretty hard to fit them all in. I didn't actually time this, but I'd say it took at least 4-5 hours. I'm sure it will take even longer to color :O

Do you guys think I made The Monkees recognizable? I tried to ask Matt but he's not really a big fan, so he didn't really care lol. All he said was I can make anyone look like a girl! I really tried to make them not extremely feminine like my usual drawings (except Davy haha)

Anyway, let me know what you think :)

I love it. I think the Monkees are totally recognizeable, right down to the wardrobe. I know Mike's jacket well and actually that's the same outfit I usually draw Peter in :) It wouldn't matter if you did make them slightly feminine because I think that Peter, Davy and Micky sometimes are slightly feminine in their gestures and mannerisims. I love Micky's hair! Can't wait to see it colored.
